Supervised evening prep

Regular, honest communication with families, especially in the first weeks and whenever something needs saying early.

05
Secure campus setting

In their own words

What boarding families notice.

The first thing that reassured us was the contact. We did not have to chase. The house parent told us how he was settling before we even asked.

It feels small in the right way. People know if you are quiet at dinner, and they ask properly, not just politely.

Full boarding gave our daughter a steady Lisbon routine. Her prep is protected, weekends are structured and she feels genuinely known.

Questions parents ask most.

Who looks after my child at night?
A named house parent lives on site and knows every boarder personally, with support staff available around the clock. The residence sits inside the secure Alvalade campus, with controlled access at all times.
What if my child gets homesick?
We expect it, especially in the first weeks, and we plan for it. New boarders receive an induction and a buddy, the house parent stays close, and a school psychologist is on hand.
How will we stay in touch with our child?
Freely. There is Wi-Fi throughout, and the house parent gives proactive updates rather than silence. If something needs saying, you will hear it from us early.
What happens at weekends and during holidays?
Full boarders have weekend life and outings included. School holidays, Christmas, Easter, July and August, are not part of the full-boarding fee.
What about meals, allergies and special diets?
Three meals a day are prepared on site and included in the fee. Dietary requirements, allergies and cultural preferences are accommodated.
What ages and year groups can board?
Boarding is for pupils from Year 9 to Year 13, aged 13–18.
We live abroad, can we see it before travelling?
Yes. Book an online tour and meeting with a boarding adviser. When you are ready to visit in person, a boarding visit takes 60–90 minutes.
What does boarding cost, and what is included?
Full boarding is €37,500 a year, this covers academics, accommodation, meals, laundry of bed linen, Wi-Fi, supervised prep, medical support and campus sport access.
