What is ISO 9001?
The ISO 9001 certification refers to compliance with the latest version of the ISO 9001 standard, which sets the requirements for a quality management system (QMS).
This standard is internationally recognised and is used by organisations of all sizes and sectors to ensure the quality of their products and services, improve customer satisfaction, and optimise internal processes.
The ISO 9001 focuses on a process-based approach and risk management, encouraging organisations to adopt practices of continuous improvement (PDCA cycle). It emphasises the importance of understanding and meeting customer needs, as well as considering the context in which the organisation operates and the expectations of interested parties. To obtain the ISO 9001 certification, an organisation must undergo an audit conducted by an accredited certification body, which will assess whether the organisation's quality management system meets the standard's requirements.
