School life

Life beyond the classroom.

Sport, art, music, clubs, trips and friendships. The part of school a child remembers longest. This is life at Prime beyond the timetable, and the practical things that keep the year running.

Beyond the classroom

Sport, arts and enrichment.

Every campus runs a programme of sport, arts and enrichment alongside the Cambridge curriculum, included, in the case of activities, in a single termly pass.

Sport and athletics

Football, volleyball, athletics and seasonal fixtures, with PE built into every week and the coast on the doorstep at Estoril.

Arts, music and drama

Studio art and design, ensembles and performance, with exhibitions and showcases through the year.

Clubs and enrichment

Robotics, coding, debate, aviation, science and more, all in one termly Activities Pass rather than priced one by one.

A community of many

Families from across the world sit side by side at Prime. A genuinely international community, rather than merely a phrase.

Pastoral care

Wellbeing is part of the curriculum.

A child who is settled, known and supported learns better. Wellbeing at Prime is not an add-on or a response to crisis. It is built into the weekly rhythm.

Named form tutor
Every pupil has a form tutor who stays with them through the year, tracking academic progress and social adjustment.
School psychologist
A qualified psychologist is on staff across all campuses, available to pupils and families as part of the fee structure.
Peer mentoring
Older pupils mentor younger ones, building cross-year friendships and giving new pupils an immediate sense of belonging.
Weekly check-ins
Short, structured check-ins each week let tutors spot concerns early.

Food and nutrition

Freshly cooked, every day.

Lunch is a proper meal, not an afterthought. All campuses have a canteen serving freshly prepared food with dietary options for every need.

Prime School canteen with freshly prepared meals
Freshly prepared daily by trained kitchen staff, not reheated or pre-packaged.
Balanced menus reviewed by a nutritionist, with seasonal variety throughout the year.
Dietary options including vegetarian, vegan, halal and allergy-aware meals, every day.

Snack time with healthy refreshments built into the day.
Happy families

What parents say.

My daughter has thrived at Prime. The Activities Pass means she can try everything without us worrying about the cost of each club. She plays football on Tuesdays, codes on Thursdays and is learning the violin. All included.

Sofia Fernandes
Parent, Lisbon campus

The Erasmus+ trip to the Netherlands was transformative for our son. He came back more confident, more curious and with friends in three other countries. And it cost us nothing. That is extraordinary.
