What being known looks like

Most schools promise attention.
We structure it.

The thing parents fear most when they move is a child who arrives and disappears into a year group. Three things at Prime are built specifically so that can’t happen.

01

Every child is known

Small, settled cohorts are the point, not a side effect. A teacher can only know a child they aren’t outnumbered by.

  • No more than 15 pupils in a class
  • A named form tutor who stays with the year
  • A pastoral check-in within the first two weeks
02

The Prime Methodology

Each child’s progress is tracked individually, so a difficulty is met early rather than discovered at a report deadline.

  • Talents, gaps and goals followed pupil by pupil
  • Early intervention, not end-of-term surprises
  • Parents follow progress on a secure portal
03

Support that means belonging

Our learning support exists so a child isn’t merely accommodated, but understood, and stays inside the same classroom.

  • Specialist team for additional educational needs
  • Dedicated shadow teachers where appropriate
  • Individualised programmes within the Cambridge framework

We know our students. We know their talents, their difficulties, their dreams. Education is, above all, a human relationship.

Edite Reina · Chief Executive, Prime School International
The Cambridge pathway

One continuous pathway

One progressive Cambridge curriculum, the whole way through, from play-based Early Years to A Levels. No change of system at sixteen, and externally examined at every stage.

Recent leavers Oxford · Cambridge · LSE · Imperial College · Harvard · Sciences Po · Bocconi · Warwick · King's College · NovaSBE, and 20+ more, across 30+ countries.
How we teach

The Prime
methodology.

Our own approach, built around the individual child. Cambridge's academic rigour, combined with personalised tracking on a single platform, so teachers can step in early, and parents follow progress through the year on a secure portal.

"The pupil is seen as a project of life. We work on integral development, intellectually, emotionally, socially and ethically."
Edite Reina · CEO, Prime School International
01
An individual profile
Every child starts with a full academic and developmental profile. We understand who they are before we teach them what they need to know.
02
Personalised mentoring
Mentors, tutors and school psychologists support each child academically and emotionally. No child goes unseen.
03
Tracked all year
Progress is monitored across every subject and pastoral area, so patterns are caught early, and parents follow it all through a secure portal.
Learning support

Children with additional
needs, genuinely supported.

Prime welcomes a wide range of learning profiles. Children with additional needs are supported by a dedicated shadow teacher who adapts materials and strategies to how each child learns, all within the Cambridge framework. The focus is the whole child: academic, social and emotional. Our approach is set out in Loving Every Child, a Prime School publication and pedagogical guide to teaching with care, putting every child at the centre of how we learn.

Families on Prime

What parents say.

"
We moved from Singapore and chose Prime because of the Cambridge results. Within a term, our daughter was settled, challenged and genuinely happy. The named form tutor made all the difference, she was known before she walked through the door.

My son sat 9 IGCSEs and achieved 7 A* and 2 A. His A Level offer from LSE came six months later. The university counsellor at Prime knew his application as well as he did, and had been working with him since Year 11.

The bilingual programme at Sintra was the reason we chose Prime. Our daughter entered Reception with only French and English. By Year 4 she was genuinely fluent in Portuguese. It happened naturally, and at a fee level we hadn't expected.
